Forrester TEI: a Fortune 500 insurer

a commissioned Total Economic Impact study of the platform at a global insurance provider with about 10,000 agents.

16 pages · 20 min read ·

KPISOFT, now entomo, commissioned Forrester Consulting to examine the return on investment enterprises may realise by deploying the platform. Forrester interviewed a Fortune 500 global insurance provider with about 10,000 agents and around a year of experience using it.

Before the investment, the company used a reporting portal that took individual account managers a long time to access, so the performance data was always stale and could not be relied on for action.

Forrester found benefits of $1,940,105 against costs of $546,339 over three years: a net present value of $1,393,766, a return on investment of 255%, and payback in under six months.

what the study found

  • incremental profit from agent productivity improvements, 70% of total benefits
  • report generation and usage savings of $590,100
  • a net present value of $1,393,766 over three years
  • a return on investment of 255%, with payback in under six months
